Can You Play at 22Bet from the UAE?
No — not from an Emirati connection. At the time of this review we opened 22Bet from an IP address in Dubai and got an empty holding page: a decorative world map and the line Copyright © 2017 — 2026 «22bet». No sportsbook, no casino, no registration form. We repeated it on three separate 22Bet domains and got the same page every time.
The comparison above is the whole finding in one image. Both halves are the same address, sportandspins.com/line, loaded minutes apart through the same proxy network. The Emirati exit gets nothing. The Egyptian exit gets the full football coupon.
That distinction matters, because operators in this market often block datacentre traffic rather than countries, and the two are easy to confuse. We ruled it out: the Portuguese and Egyptian exits sit on the same commercial VPN infrastructure as the Emirati one, and both loaded the product normally. What 22Bet is filtering is the country, not the connection type.
There is a second oddity worth recording. The registration data served by 22Bet’s own platform still lists the United Arab Emirates as a selectable country, complete with the +971 dialling code, and the timezone list includes Dubai. The operator has not declared the Emirates a restricted territory in the places you would look for such a declaration — it simply does not serve the site there. The practical effect for you is the same, with one extra risk: reaching it means using a VPN to enter a site that has decided not to accept traffic from where you are, and an account opened that way is exactly the kind that runs into trouble at withdrawal and verification.
A geographic block is not a legal judgement — plenty of good operators geofence markets for commercial or licensing reasons. But it changes what this review can honestly tell you. Everything below about odds, bonuses and games was measured on a working connection from outside the Emirates. It is an accurate picture of the product. It is not a picture of a product you can currently reach from Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
Who Runs 22Bet, and Under What Licence
22Bet does not tell you. We looked in the three places an operator normally discloses this — the footer, the terms and conditions, and the page source — and found no licence number, no company name and no regulator in any of them. The footer carries card logos and industry awards. The terms define Company as, in full, «22BET» or «bookmaker 22bet». The only reference to licensing anywhere in the served markup is a marketing line in the page description: Licensed sports betting.
So we worked the other way round. Industry reporting and corporate filings name TechSolutions Group, registered in Curacao under company number 144920, as the operator behind the brand, with a holding company in Limassol, Cyprus. The Cyprus link is corroborated by 22Bet’s own contacts page, which publishes a +357 telephone number. We then took that company number to the regulator’s own register.
It is there. Entry 298 of the Curacao Gaming Authority’s Online Gaming License Registry, in the most recent edition at the time of this review, published on 20 August 2026, reads: licence OGL/2024/590/0758, licensee TechSolutions Group B.V., company type B2C, company registration number 144920. The number matches.
Read the last three columns, though. The licence was issued on 14 October 2025 and expired on 14 April 2026, and the status column says assessment in progress. Curacao issues these permits in six-month cycles and the regulator’s own note on the register says the overviews do not guarantee current validity. So the fair reading is this: the operator is a known, registered licensee whose renewal was still being assessed as of the most recent published edition — not an operator running with no licence at all, and not one with a licence you can call current. We also checked the CGA enforcement register, edition of 10 July 2026: TechSolutions Group does not appear in it. There is nothing recorded against them.
The gap between what the register shows and what the site shows is the story here. Melbet publishes its operating company, its Curacao licence number and its company number in its own footer, so you can verify it in thirty seconds. 22Bet publishes none of it, and the entry we found for it has been sitting past its expiry date since April. Neither fact is fatal on its own. Together they mean you are taking more on trust here than the alternatives require.
22Bet Welcome Bonus: Four Deposits, 150 Free Spins
The casino welcome package is spread across your first four deposits rather than paid in one lump: 100% on the first, 50% on the second, 25% on the third and 25% on the fourth, with 30, 35, 40 and 45 free spins attached in that order. The shape of the offer rewards staying rather than arriving: only the first deposit is matched in full, so the headline number is unreachable unless you fund the account four separate times.
Claiming it takes three steps, and the first one trips people up:
- Complete every field in your profile and activate your phone number. The bonus will not credit on a half-finished profile.
- Make a first deposit at or above the stated minimum — 500 EGP in the Egyptian version of the terms.

One condition we could not read, and will not guess at: 22Bet does not publish the wagering requirement on the welcome package page. It sits behind a collapsed terms panel that does not load in the served page and would not open without an account. Rollover is the single most important number in any bonus — it decides whether the offer is worth taking — and an operator that puts the headline figure in 60-point type while leaving the rollover a click away in a panel that does not open has made a choice about what it wants you to read.
Judge this package on the free spins and the rising caps, not on the headline. An average 1X2 margin of 5.39% across six football matches priced at the time of this review — low enough to put 22Bet among the better-priced books we have measured for this market, and statistically level with Melbet’s 5.41%.
We took the whole front page of the football coupon rather than cherry-picking, priced every match showing a full 1X2 line, and calculated the bookmaker margin from the three published prices. The matches were a mix of La Liga, Champions League play-offs and a Conference League tie, all kicking off the same evening.

The spread is remarkably tight: 24 basis points separate the best-priced match from the worst, and the marquee fixture on the coupon carried the lowest margin of the six. That consistency is worth as much as the average — you are not being quietly punished for betting the smaller ties.
The market counts tell their own story. Every match carried between 1,247 and 1,346 additional markets beyond the result, averaging around 1,300 — corners, cards, player props, minute bands and the rest. That is a deep book by any standard, and it is the same depth on a Slovenian Champions League play-off as on Real Madrid at home. Odds are shown in decimal by default with a format selector in the header.
Real Madrid — Real Sociedad priced at 5.27% while Celje — Slovan Bratislava priced at 5.51% on the same evening. On a 100 unit stake that difference is small, but it compounds: if you bet the top European fixtures rather than the qualifying ties, you are consistently getting the better side of 22Bet’s pricing. Check the competition tier before you stake.
Sports and Markets Covered
Football leads the coupon, with tennis, basketball, ice hockey, volleyball and table tennis carrying their own tabs across the top and a scrolling list of further sports behind them. The left column runs the full sport tree, and the header adds Virtual Sports, Statistics and Results as separate destinations rather than burying them in a menu.
Two things stood out on the coupon itself. The competition mix on a single evening ran from La Liga to Champions League play-offs to a Conference League tie to three MLB games, which is broader than the football-only front pages some operators serve. And a standing accumulator block sat inside the Champions League section offering a combined price across four matches — a pre-built multiple rather than something you assemble yourself.
What we could not check is the Arabic build. 22Bet serves more than sixty language versions, including Arabic, Iraqi and Kurdish variants, but there is no Emirates-specific build in that list and we could not load any of them from an Emirati connection to see how the right-to-left layout holds up.
22Bet Casino and Live Casino
The casino is organised as one lobby with the slots and live dealer tabs side by side, rather than the separate sites some operators run. Alongside it, the top navigation carries Jackpot, Poker, Bingo, TV Games, 22Games and Virtual Sports as their own destinations.

We cannot give you a verified payments table for the UAE, and we are not going to invent one. The cashier sits behind registration, and registration sits behind a country block. What follows is what the public pages actually show.
The footer of every page carries four card and scheme logos: Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club International and Discover. Those are the only payment brands 22Bet displays publicly. The welcome bonus terms name a minimum qualifying deposit of 500 EGP in the Egyptian version of the offer, but that is the bonus threshold, not the site minimum, and 22Bet does not publish a general minimum deposit, a withdrawal minimum, a fee schedule or processing times anywhere we could reach.

An unreadable cashier is a real cost, not a technicality. 22Bet publishes apps for both iOS and Android, promoted from a fixed button in the sportsbook header carrying the Apple and Android marks, with a separate mobile version of the site linked from the footer for anyone who would rather not install anything.
We are not going to describe how the apps behave, because we could not run them. Installing the Android package or fetching the iOS build means reaching 22Bet’s download endpoints, and those sit behind the same block as everything else. Anything we told you about the app experience would be guesswork dressed up as testing.
One point does carry over from the desktop build and is worth stating: the coupon we measured is a dense, data-heavy table with a dozen market columns per fixture. Layouts like that are the ones that suffer most on a phone, and it is the first thing we would check on a small screen before committing to the account.

The split is genuinely useful: a verification problem goes straight to the department that handles it instead of round-tripping through a general queue. The weakness is the phone line. A +357 number is an international call from the Emirates, on Cyprus business hours, with no local alternative published.
We could not test response times. Testing support properly means opening a ticket from a real account, and we could not open an account from where we were testing. We are not reporting a response time we did not measure.
How to Open a 22Bet Account
The registration form is a one-screen affair, but the bonus depends on finishing what it starts:
- Choose your country and account currency on the registration form. The country list includes the United Arab Emirates with the +971 dialling code, even though the site does not serve Emirati connections.

- Licence past its expiry date. The register entry expired on 14 April 2026 and remains marked assessment in progress in the 20 August 2026 edition.
- No self-disclosure. Neither the footer nor the terms name the operating company or the licence, so nothing on the site itself can be verified without going to the regulator.
There is no UAE licence, because there is no UAE licensing regime that covers this kind of operator. Nothing on this page is supervised by an Emirati authority, and you have no local recourse if a dispute arises — a complaint would go to Curacao, in English, against a company registered five thousand miles away. A good sportsbook that UAE players cannot currently reach. That sentence is the whole review. The pricing is genuinely competitive, the book is deep, the bonus is generously structured — and none of it is available from an Emirati connection, which is the only thing this site exists to tell you about.

The overall score is not an average, and it is deliberately not one. A book you cannot open from Dubai scores badly on a UAE site however well it prices football, and the two scores we could not earn honestly — payments and support response — stay low because we could not test them, not because we found them wanting.

If you find a 22Bet mirror that does open from the Emirates, treat it with more care than usual rather than less. Reaching a geofenced operator through a workaround puts you outside the terms you agreed to, and the point at which that surfaces is almost never the deposit — it is the withdrawal, after verification, when the account is already funded.
