Underneath it prints the flag of the United Arab Emirates and the IP address you arrived on. The operator is not quietly failing to serve the Emirates. It names the country, in Arabic, to your face.
Both halves of that image are the same URL, loaded minutes apart through the same proxy network. We made five separate requests from Dubai — the home page, the Arabic build, the football line, the Arabic casino, and the sportandspins.com platform — and none of the five returned the product. From a European exit on the same infrastructure, every request loaded normally. What 22Bet filters is the country, not the connection type.
One nuance worth keeping, because it explains why our first pass described an “empty page”. The routes without a language prefix render as a bare world map with a copyright line and nothing else; only the routes that carry a locale paint the padlock and the sentence. A geographic block is not a legal judgement — plenty of good operators geofence markets for commercial or licensing reasons. But it changes what this review can honestly tell you. The page declares <html lang="ar">, the interface mirrors properly right-to-left, and the operator maintains 201 separate Arabic dictionary files covering the coupon, the cashier, registration, verification, the slots lobby and the mobile app. Pull the sports list from 22Bet’s own data feed with the Arabic locale and all fifty sports come back translated — كرة القدم, التنس, كرة السلة — across 10,182 pre-match events. The legal pages are in Arabic too: the terms run to twenty-one numbered sections in Arabic, and the contacts page publishes a dedicated Arabic support address.
And then there is the detail that is hard to write about neutrally. In 22Bet’s own language switcher, the icon that represents Arabic is the flag of the United Arab Emirates.
So the operator picked the Emirates to stand for the Arabic language, built a complete Arabic product behind it, and then put a padlock in front of any visitor who actually arrives from that country. Whatever the commercial logic, the effect on the reader this site is written for is a closed door with their own flag on the handle.
One more thing about the Arabic build, and it matters for anyone trying to find it: 22Bet’s sitemap declares 337 URLs, and not one of them is Arabic. The Arabic pages exist and work, but the operator does not tell search engines they exist.
Who Runs 22Bet, and Under What Licence
22Bet does not tell you. We looked in the three places an operator normally discloses this — the footer, the terms and conditions, and the page source — and found no licence number, no company name and no regulator in any of them. That holds in Arabic exactly as it holds in English.
What the footer does carry is four payment logos — Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club International and Discover — and three industry badges: an AskGamblers Certificate of Trust and SiGMA awards for 2024 and 2026. The terms define the “Company” as, in full, «22BET» or “bookmaker 22bet”. The only reference to licensing in the served markup is a marketing line in the page description: Licensed sports betting.
So we worked the other way round. Industry reporting and corporate filings name TechSolutions Group, registered in Curacao under company number 144920, as the operator behind the brand, with a holding company in Limassol, Cyprus. The Cyprus link is corroborated by 22Bet’s own contacts page, which publishes a +357 telephone number. We then took that company number to the regulator’s own register.
It is there. In the edition of 27 August 2026 — the most recent published at the time of writing — entry 299 of the Curacao Gaming Authority’s Online Gaming License Registry reads: licence OGL/2024/590/0758, licensee TechSolutions Group B.V., company type B2C, company registration number 144920, issued 14 October 2025, expired 14 April 2026, status Assessment in progress.
That status has not moved in four and a half months. But it needs context we did not give you the first time, and the context cuts both ways. We counted the whole register: of 626 entries, 312 — 49.8% — carry exactly the same “Assessment in progress” marking, and 323 of them have an expiry date already in the past. Half of the Curacao register is in the same position as 22Bet. That is a statement about the regulator’s throughput as much as about this operator, and reading the entry as evidence of misconduct specific to 22Bet would be wrong.
We also checked the CGA enforcement register: TechSolutions Group does not appear in it. There is nothing recorded against them.
The gap between what the register shows and what the site shows is the story here. The licence exists and is traceable; the problem is that 22Bet makes you go to a Curacao PDF to find it. An operator that prints its licence number in its own footer is telling you something about how it expects to be checked — and this one does not.

The shape of the offer rewards staying rather than arriving: only the first deposit is matched in full, so the headline number is unreachable unless you fund the account four separate times.
Claiming it takes three steps, and the first one trips people up:

One condition we could not read, and will not guess at: 22Bet does not publish the wagering requirement on the welcome package page, in Arabic or in English. We are correcting our own number here. The first version of this review reported an average 1X2 margin of 5.39%, measured across six football matches taken from the front page of the coupon. This time we went through 22Bet’s own data feed, priced every match in seven named competitions in the same session, and calculated the bookmaker margin from the three published prices. The picture changes.

Read the bottom two rows first, because they are the ones that concern you. The margin 22Bet charges on the five big European leagues is 5.66% across 112 matches — genuinely competitive, and close to the best we have measured for this market. The margin it charges on the UAE Pro League is 10.25% across the four matches it had in line. That is 81% wider than the European book, on the league most likely to be the reason a reader here opens an account.
The usual objection to a comparison like that is the calendar: margins widen with distance from kick-off, so a sample of distant fixtures looks worse than it is. Here the objection runs the wrong way. The four Emirati matches were between 1.9 and 3.9 days out; the European fixtures stretched to 12 days. The local games were in the position that should have given them the narrower margin, and they came back nearly twice as wide.
A note on what that costs, because the arithmetic is easy to get wrong. A margin is the excess of the implied probabilities over one, not the share of your stake the book keeps. The fraction actually retained is m/(1+m). At 10.25% the house holds about 9.3 units per 100 staked; at 5.66% it holds about 5.4. The real difference is roughly 3.9 per 100, not the 4.6 you get by subtracting the margins.
On market depth, we also owe you a smaller correction. We wrote “around 1,300 extra markets per fixture”. Across the 112 European matches the average is about 1,068, and across a broader sample of 40 fixtures from the general coupon it is 1,025, with a floor of 260. Still a deep book by any standard — just not uniformly 1,300 deep.
If you are betting the local league, the price you get is materially worse than the price the same operator offers on the Premier League — 10.25% against 5.53% on the day we measured. That gap is not visible anywhere on the site; you only see it by pricing both books side by side.
The Same Book as Melbet and Betwinner — Literally
Our first version pointed readers who wanted the odds towards Melbet, on the grounds that we had measured its football margin at 5.41%, “within two basis points of 22Bet’s”. That framing was too generous to both of us. It is not a near-match. It is the same book.
We requested the identical Premier League fixture list from 22bet.com, melbet.com and betwinner.com in the same minute, on three separate domains with no redirection between them. All three returned 76,261 bytes. The 22Bet and Melbet responses were byte-for-byte identical. Against Betwinner, all 24 of 24 matches carried exactly the same three prices, to the thousandth, and the only field that differed anywhere in the payload was one internal flag.
These brands run on one shared pricing backend. That is worth knowing before you shop between them: switching from 22Bet to Melbet or Betwinner will not get you a better price on a football match, because it is the same line served under a different logo. What genuinely differs is everything around the line — and on the thing that matters most here, availability, Melbet opened from an Emirati connection with no VPN and no mirror domain, and it publishes its licence in its own footer. That, not the odds, is the reason to prefer it.
22Bet Casino and Live Casino

We cannot give you a verified payments table for the UAE, and we are not going to invent one. The cashier sits behind registration, and registration sits behind a country block. What we can now do is quote the operator’s own rules, which we had not read before.
Section 7 of the terms, headed الإيداعات والسحوبات (Deposits and withdrawals), says three things worth having.

We under-rated this section last time. We described support as email-led with a Cyprus phone number and no local alternative, and marked it down accordingly. Two things were missing.

The split by purpose is genuinely useful: a verification problem goes straight to the department that handles it instead of round-tripping through a general queue.
