PlayFina Review 2026: Labelled Arabic, and It Is Not

Live Casino
Online Casino

PlayFina names its operating company, its registration number and its licence in the footer of every page — and then offers a registration form with 24 countries on it, none of which is the United Arab Emirates. The version it labels “Arabic” is served entirely in English.

We verified both findings four separate ways, including against the brand’s own back-end configuration.

PlayFina in the UAE: A Site Labelled Arabic That Is Not

PlayFina runs a version of its site labelled “Arabic”, serves it to the Emirates, and it is entirely in English with no right-to-left layout. More seriously, when we opened its registration form, the United Arab Emirates was not in the list of countries you may sign up from. We checked that ourselves at the time of this review.

That is the headline, and it is unusual enough to need proving rather than asserting. The rest of this review is the evidence, plus the things PlayFina genuinely does better than its competitors — because there are several.

Playfina lobby served to a United Arab Emirates connection under the Arabic-EN label, entirely in English and with no sportsbook.

The Emirates Are Not on the Sign-Up List

PlayFina’s registration form offers a fixed list of 24 countries. The United Arab Emirates is not one of them. Neither is Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon or Morocco. The only Arab country on the list is Kuwait.

Playfina registration form defaulting to Finland, on the site version the brand labels Arabic; the country list holds 24 entries and none is the United Arab Emirates.

Here is the full list, read from the form itself: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain and Switzerland.

We did not want to report this from a single reading, so we checked it four ways. We pulled the pre-rendered data for four different regional versions of the site — including the one PlayFina labels Arabic — and every one returns the same 24 countries. We then read the brand’s own back-end configuration, which exposes a field named enabledCountry holding those same 24 entries, each with a dialling code. Kuwait carries +965. There is no +971.

Our View:

A site can serve you pages and still not let you open an account. PlayFina markets a version at Arabic speakers, defaults it to dollars, and then offers a sign-up form that has no space for where you live. Before anything else on this page matters, check that you can actually register.

“Arabic-EN”: The Label Says It Out Loud

The language selector in PlayFina’s footer offers eleven options. One of them reads, literally, Arabic-EN. Select it and you get English.

We went looking for how that is configured, and the brand’s own data answers plainly. The language record carries the code AR-EN and the locale en-AR — English, for the Arabic region. It was created on 10 May 2023 and last touched on 3 July 2024. The page it serves declares lang="en", runs left-to-right, and contains not a single right-to-left style rule.

This is worth separating from ordinary corner-cutting. Cadoola offers 27 languages and simply has no Arabic among them — an absence, and an honest one. Wazamba declares its Arabic page as left-to-right in the markup but mirrors it correctly in CSS, so the reader gets the right result. PlayFina does something else: it puts the word Arabic in front of an English page.

BrandWhat “Arabic” means there
BC.GAMEFull Arabic, right-to-left, dirham balances
SpinrollzFull Arabic, right-to-left, 90% of the page translated
WazambaArabic, mirrored via CSS despite the markup
CadoolaNo Arabic offered at all — honest absence
PlayFinaAn English page labelled Arabic-EN

For a reader who does not speak English, the difference between Cadoola and PlayFina is the difference between a door that is closed and a door painted to look open.

Our View:

We would rather a brand said “we do not serve Arabic” than shipped a locale called Arabic-EN. The naming is not a translation bug; someone typed that label deliberately, and it has sat there since 2023.

Licence: Named, Which Is Rare — and Complicated

PlayFina does something none of the five brands in the Spinanga group manages: it tells you who it is. The footer of every page names Novatrix SRL, incorporated in Costa Rica under company registration number 3-102-893958, with a registered address in Cartago province.

Playfina footer naming Novatrix SRL of Costa Rica and e-gaming licence 0000002 from the Tobique Gaming Commission, beside a language selector reading Arabic-EN.

After the company details, the same sentence continues: the site “is operating under E-gaming license No. 0000002 issued by Tobique Gaming Commission”. That is the licence a UAE visitor is shown.

Two things about it deserve stating plainly, and neither is an accusation. First, Costa Rica does not license online gambling. A Costa Rican SRL is an ordinary commercial company; incorporation there confers no gaming authorisation, and the footer does not claim otherwise — it names the licence separately. Second, the licence number 0000002 is, on its face, the second ever issued by that body.

Three Regulators, One Website

The picture gets harder to read the closer you look. Alongside the Tobique text, PlayFina loads two regulator seal scripts on every page: one from a Curaçao licensing service, and one from Anjouan, in the Comoros. And a second version of the footer text, held in the same content store, says something different again — that the site “is licensed and regulated by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros and operates under License No. ALSI-202508056-FI2”.

The FI2 suffix suggests that text belongs to the Finnish build. Which is the point: the licence you are told about depends on which version of the site you land on.

Where it appearsWhat it says

Alternate footer text in the same storeAnjouan, licence ALSI-202508056-FI2

Our View:

Naming your company and a licence number puts PlayFina ahead of every brand in the Spinanga group, and we will not pretend otherwise. But three regulators across one website is not reassurance, it is noise — and noise is hard to escalate a complaint through.

Bonuses: A Different One Every Day of the Week

This is where PlayFina is genuinely strong. The welcome package is up to $1,800 plus 800 free spins across the first four deposits, each unlocked with its own promo code, with a further “secret bonus” after the third.

Playfina promotions with a bonus for every weekday, weekly rakeback to 5,000 dollars and monthly cashback to 10,000 dollars.

What sets it apart is the weekly rhythm. Every weekday has a named offer of its own:

OfferValue
Monday Win WaveUp to 400 free spins
Tuesday Turbo ChargeUp to 500 free spins
Wednesday Loot SplashUp to 400 free spins
Thursday Prize StormUp to 500 free spins
Weekend Grand Finale50% up to $200 + 100 free spins
Weekly rakebackEvery Monday, up to $5,000
Monthly cashbackEach month, up to $10,000
Lootbox Treasure TrailUp to $10,000 in a single prize
PlayFina

A monthly cashback ceiling of $10,000 is more than three times the €3,000 weekly cap at BoaBoa, and the weekly rakeback at $5,000 sits on top of it. Around them runs a full gamification layer: a loyalty programme, achievements, quests, a shop, tournaments, a wheel of fortune, lootboxes and a lottery.

Everything is quoted in dollars, which matches what an Emirates-facing account defaults to — a small consistency that BoaBoa, still pricing in euros, does not manage.

Our View:

Judged only on its offers, PlayFina is one of the strongest casinos we have reviewed for this site. That is exactly why the registration problem matters so much: a $10,000 monthly cashback is worth nothing if the sign-up form has no line for where you live.

Games: A Number We Could Not Check

PlayFina’s own marketing gives two different figures. The meta description on the main site says “thousands of games”; the brand’s landing site claims “11,000+”. We could not confirm either.

That is worth explaining, because we normally can. At BoaBoa and Spinrollz the game catalogue is served by a public endpoint, so we query it twice — once from our own connection, once through an Emirates IP — and report both numbers along with the gap. PlayFina’s equivalent endpoint returns a 404 to anyone outside its own front end, so the only figures available are the marketing ones.

What we can confirm is the shape of the catalogue. The lobby splits into Slots, Live Casino, Hot, New, Instant Wins, Roulette, Bonus Buy, Blackjack, Jackpot and Table Games, with a dedicated bonus-buy section that is deeper than most. Ezugi appears in the provider data with a full country-by-country availability list, which is the sort of detail that only shows up when a real live-casino integration is in place.

Our View:

We will not repeat a catalogue figure we could not verify, in either direction. Assume that whatever the number is, provider licensing removes a slice of it before it reaches the Gulf — that has been true at every brand on this platform tier where we could measure.

Design and Navigation

Loaded from an Emirates connection, PlayFina opens on a dark purple lobby with a left-hand rail: All games, Hot slots, New, Bonus buy, Blackjack, Roulette, Table games, then Live Casino, Promotions, VIP Club and Support. A row of category tiles sits under the banner — Slots, Live Casino, Hot, New, Instant Wins, Roulette, Bonus Buy, Blackjack, Jackpot, Table Games.

It is clean, quick and reads left-to-right, because there is no right-to-left build to serve. The navigation is entirely in English, including on the version labelled Arabic.

There is no sportsbook. PlayFina is a casino only, which puts it alongside Cadoola and against Spinrollz and Megapari, which run both under one account.

Our View:

The interface is the most polished of the three casinos we reviewed this week, and the gamification layer is genuinely deep. None of that is in dispute — the problem sits one click earlier, at the sign-up form.

Payments: Dollars, Crypto, and No Dirhams

An account on the version PlayFina serves to Arabic speakers defaults to US dollars. The platform quotes exchange rates for 21 currencies — euro, dollar, Canadian and Australian dollars, New Zealand dollar, złoty, koruna, rupee, krone, rand, and ten cryptocurrencies. The dirham is not among them.

The crypto side is well covered: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Tether, USD Coin, Cardano, Dogecoin, Tron, BNB and XRP all appear as balance currencies. Card payments run through Visa and Mastercard.

We could not verify the deposit and withdrawal minimums, because PlayFina does not publish a payments page that lists them without an account. Where Spinrollz shows its full per-country table to anyone, PlayFina keeps it behind the login. We are not going to invent the numbers.

Our View:

Crypto is the practical route here, as it is at every brand in this bracket. But if you cannot complete the registration form in the first place, the payment options are academic.

Support

PlayFina publishes support@playfina.com and runs a support section from the left-hand rail. There is no phone number, no WhatsApp and no Telegram, and no Arabic-language channel — consistent with a site that has no Arabic build.

We have not measured response times ourselves, and will not quote a figure we have not tested. When we have an account, this section will carry a measured time and the date we measured it.

How PlayFina Compares for a Reader in the Emirates

PlayFina is not part of the five-brand Spinanga group, and it shows: different platform, different contract, its own company name in the footer. Set against the casinos we cover, the trade-off is unusually stark.

Read across the top row and the rest of the table stops mattering. PlayFina wins on transparency and loses on the only question that comes first.

Responsible Gambling

PlayFina publishes a responsible gambling page, a KYC policy and a complaints procedure, which is a more complete set of consumer documents than the Spinanga group offers. The complaints page is the one worth reading, since it is the only route named anywhere.

Online gambling is not licensed in the United Arab Emirates, and a Tobique or Anjouan licence gives a UAE resident no local recourse. Deposit only what you can afford to lose. If gambling has stopped being entertainment, BeGambleAware offers free and confidential help.

PlayFina FAQs

Not through the standard registration form. It offers 24 countries and the United Arab Emirates is not among them; the only Arab country listed is Kuwait. We confirmed this against four regional versions of the site and the brand’s own back-end configuration.

No. The language option is labelled “Arabic-EN” and its internal locale is en-AR, meaning English for the Arabic region. The page declares itself as English, runs left-to-right and carries no right-to-left styling.

The footer names Novatrix SRL, registered in Costa Rica under number 3-102-893958, operating under e-gaming licence 0000002 from the Tobique Gaming Commission. Costa Rica itself does not license online gambling, and the site also loads Curacao and Anjouan seal scripts.

Up to $1,800 plus 800 free spins across your first four deposits, each activated with its own promo code, with an additional secret bonus after the third deposit.

No. PlayFina is casino only, with slots, live casino, jackpots and table games. For casino and sports in one account, Spinrollz and Megapari are the alternatives covered on this site.

Verdict: The Best Offers of the Three, Behind a Door You Cannot Open

PlayFina is the most frustrating casino we have reviewed for this site. It does the thing we most often complain about not being done: it names its operating company, its registration number and its licence, in the footer of every page. Its bonus programme — a named offer every weekday, $5,000 weekly rakeback, $10,000 monthly cashback — is the strongest we have measured this month, and its interface is the most polished.

And then it will not let a resident of the Emirates open an account. The registration form has 24 countries and the UAE is not one, a fact we verified four separate ways. On top of that it ships a locale named Arabic-EN that serves English, and shows three different regulators across one website.

What we liked:

  • Names its company and licence number
  • A different named bonus every weekday
  • Monthly cashback up to $10,000
  • Dollar accounts by default
  • Deep loyalty, quest and lootbox system
  • Publishes a complaints procedure

What could be better:

  • UAE missing from the sign-up list
  • Calls an English site Arabic-EN
  • No right-to-left layout at all
  • Three regulators across one site
  • Costa Rica issues no gaming licence
  • No sportsbook and no dirhams

PlayFina earns 2.5 out of 5, and the score is almost entirely about access. Everything it builds is good; almost none of it is available to the reader this site is written for. If the bonus programme is what draws you, Spinrollz offers a comparable calendar with a real Arabic interface and a registration form that includes the Emirates. If transparency is the priority, BC.GAME publishes a licence you can check.
